William Messerschmidt Obituary
He was the husband of Edith (Godshall) Messerschmidt.
He grew up in Grier City and was a son of the late Cyrus and Ruth (Maurey) Messerschmidt.
He was a member of Christ UCC, Rush Township.
Surviving in addition to his widow are three sons, Duane of Mahanoy City, Michael of Macungie and William of Grier City; six grandchildren and a great-grandson.

It was very sorrowful to hear about Bill.
My mom already contacted you via phone, but we still would like to express our condolences.
I remember the days you and Bill spent here in Germany at my parents house.
Hopefully you can reminisce all the good days you enjoyed together with Bill.

Edie,Wayne and i are so sorry about billy's passing ,he was a kind and gentle man. His service yesterday was befitting of the great life that he led. Sorry to hear of Billy's passing. I can't think of Grier City without thinking of Billy. He will always be in our hearts . He was a good neighbor and most important " A Grier City Boy " Russ and Leslie Beltz

Dear Edie and family - We are so sorry to hear of Billy's passing, but we know where he is and his painful battle is over. As Williamson brothers, we've been family for 48 years. We have especially enjoyed our time together over the last few years as he got us together at White Birch.
