It is wonderful to have watched someone have such a fruitful life; lovingly giving to others and accepting only their love. Our God and father never forgets the good we do in order to bring honor to his name. He surely has not forgotten about Abelardo. Just a while longer and the chance to see him again, happy and healthy here on earth is possible. Please accept these kind words from God himself. Heb 6:10. I am sorry for your loss.

Thanks for the guidance and corny jokes, Uncle Boy. We'll see you soon, you know! His peace be with you and may your soul find eternal rest.

I recall that while loading goods in a container truck for a medical mission group where Abe was an officer, in between the too many laughter and the fun of loading, we managed to exchange views of the joys & sacrifices of life & rendering community service, Abe requested me to type up his personal resume' for the mission group. It can't be denied & his daughter, Marissa, was correct,& rightfully so, his was a life of service to humanity. He talked the talk & walked the walk. He served Filipinos very well, served this country very well, and in the end he served Him extremely well.
To your family & friends, I express my deep sorrows in his passing.

I am deeply saddened by his passing. In the 12 years we worked together collecting and packing hospital junk for our surgical missions I came to regard him as a brother . Such a tireless worker. He had seriousness of purpose but yet made it fun to gather and haul discarded hospital supplies. We went as far as Fremont and Northern Michigan. He had contacts just about every where. He was so proud of his children and their successes. Humble and good story teller. He was the designated supplies coordinator at our Philippines missions. He was still active there shortly before his death. Rudy and I, our mission, and countless others are saddened. He will be missed . Our condolences to his family. We share your grief.
