Alexis I'm just up thinking about you right now. Currently 1:37 am. Gosh I miss you...we had different schedules freshman year and I switched schools Sophomore year but the friendship we created in middle school could never crumble throughout that distance. I remember we used to try and wear our hair the same lol. We'd come into the gym with wet wavy hair and we'd hold hands all day. I still remember the how your hands feel Alexis!! ...you had eczema between your thumb and first finger. FBLA field trips we were inseparable! Our birthday's both in the month of June! I still have this old blurry selfie we took with my back camera! Lol! Oh and I always hated that you loved green and purple I was such a pink girl lol! And even when I switched schools you still kept in contact..just an amazing person inside and out I swear you never had a bad day lol! Always smiling always laughing! It's been 3 years since your transition and 3 years since I had to speak on your behalf in front of all of your loved ones here in Augusta. It still is hard to think about. Yet I'll never forget to post my favorite picture of you beautiful..each year! I love youuu so much my friend and miss you dearly!

I did not know Alexis in anyway and stumbled upon this site, having said this I would like to send my warmest condolence from the UK. My heart goes put to those who knew her. It is saddening when someone dies, especially one of such a tender age. I do not know the the circumstances around her death.

Although I didn't know your daughter I wanted to let you know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. When you lose a child you know it just takes such a piece of your heart. Sadly, we lose our parents, but this is overwhelming. My heart hurts for you but at the same time I praise HIS wonderful name that she's with our Lord. God Bless You and keep you.
