Sara,

I love you and I am so sad by the loss of Alfred. He was a man of few words but he was always kind. I will miss hearing him call out "hey slim". I can just imagine the smile on Tre's face when he welcomes his daddy home. My condolences to the rest of the family also. Tracy (Goodell) Lawrence

My dearest cousin Alfred. Words cannot express how sad I am.to know that you're gone. But more than anything what gives me peace and comfort is knowing that you are with your brother again! I simply would like to envision my two great cousins, the dynamic duo cooking that BBQ for Jesus! Cousin Gene was smiling big when he saw you, ofcourse with that tooth pick hanging out his mouth, those dark shades on, and that white towel flung over his shoulder! That's just my vision though. It makes me smile and I hope it makes the family smile too. I love you cousin and one day I'll be in that great number for some more of cousin Gene's BBQ! I won't say goodbye. I won't say rest, I'll just say...Get your eat on in Heaven!
