Amanda Rupert Obituary
Amanda Kay Rupert left on her final journey with her mother and brother to see her off on June 4, 2022. Born to Michael Rupert and Robin (Bill) Barnes on July 17, 1982, Amanda knew at an early age her life would be short, so she set her own path and walked it her way. Her bravery, free spirit, and strong will took her on many adventures, but always led her back home to family and friends who loved her.
We will miss you Amanda but rejoice in the thought that Huntington's Disease will not take away the joy of your trip.
Amanda is survived by her mother and stepfather, Robin and Bill Barnes; brothers, Juston (Carrie) Schotte, Brian (Emily) Rupert, and Zach (Allie) Barnes; nieces and nephews, Anthony, Dalton, Kennedy, Bryn, Maverick, and Lucy; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father; and grandparents, Jim and Donna Barton and Judy Rupert. Amanda's family would like to give a special thank you to her dear friend, Nikki Grove, for her love, patience, and dedication to Amanda through thick and thin.
A memorial visitation for Amanda will be held on Thursday, June 16, 2022, from 6-8:00 p.m. with a celebration of life service beginning at 6:00 p.m. at 13565 East Horton Rd., Riga, MI.
