Andrea Ann Ardley

Andrea Ardley died Sept 14, 2020, at Castle Peak Nursing Facility, Eagle, CO, where she resided since April 2017, from complications of Parkinson's Disease. She was born July 21, 1942, in Toledo, the first child of Elmer and Emily Ardley.

Andrea was a Clay High School graduate, 1960, later obtaining an undergraduate degree from the University of So. California and eventually a Juris Doctor Degree from Southwestern Law School, thereafter working many years as a paralegal. She lived most of her adult life in Orange County, CA, and Lake Oswego, OR, where she raised her two sons.

Andrea was a wonderful cook, a green-thumb gardener who loved her roses, an opera fan, an avid reader and loved keeping up with friends and family. Her love of the mountains led to hiking and climbing as a member of Portland's Mezamas Climbing Club and the Sierra Club in California. Always active, she completed a number of marathons, enjoyed skiing and sailing. She instilled in her sons a love of the outdoors they enjoy today.

She is survived by son, Andrew (Rebekkah) Zenor; grandsons, Barrett and Bode, Eagle, CO.; son, Aaron Ardley, Las, Vegas, NV; brother, Albert (Samai) Ardley and nephew, Emry, Horseheads, NY; sister, Christine Ardley (Douglas Buchanan) and nephews, Ross and Marshall Buchanan.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Marillyn Ardley and nephew, Colin Ardley.
