Andrew C. Lisac "Andy" stepped from this life into the welcoming arms of Jesus on June 23, 2023. He died peacefully at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg, OH, held by his loving wife, Dee.

Andy was born June 29, 1926 to Frank and Josephine Lisac. He attended the Michigan School for the Deaf, graduating in 1945. Andy married the love of his life, Dolores June Miller, on September 28, 1951. The two of them were blessed with 71 amazing years together; residing in Holland, OH.

Andy and Dee were well-traveled globe trotters; sailing on 7 cruises, including their favorite around the Hawaiian Islands. They visited 7 European countries and trekked all over the U.S.

Andy loved the game of golf; participating in numerous Tournaments across America for the Deaf Golf Association. He was greatly respected by friends and competitors on and off the golf course. Andy continued to play golf until the incredible age of 93 and got 5 holes-in-one during his lifetime.

Most of Andy's working years were spent in the employment of the United States Postal Service, Toledo; and the Chevy Plant, Flint.

Andy was preceded in death by his only child, a son, Lyndsey Charles; daughter-in-law, Linda; his parents, Frank and Josephine; and his 6 siblings, Rose, Frank, Martha, Rudy, William and Alice. Andy is survived by his wife, Dee; 5 grandchildren; 3 great- grandchildren; and goddaughter, Melda.

Family and friends may visit on Saturday, July 15, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the Walker Funeral Home at 5155 W. Sylvania Ave., Toledo, OH 43623. Memorial services will follow at the funeral home, at 12:00 p.m. A reception will be held in Andy's honor at the Good Shepherd of the Deaf Lutheran Church, 5845 Elmer Dr., Toledo, OH 43615 following the service. The family suggests that contributions given in Andy's memory be made to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church or Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg, OH. Many thanks to the sweet and caring staff at Hospice. They are truly amazing!
