Andrew was more than a friend to this family. He was a son, and a brother to my boys. Two days before he passed we enjoyed a family fishing trip together. Those memories I will keep forever. Amy, your family will always be in my prayers and Andrew will always be in my heart. He was loved very much and will be missed even more.

I didn't know your son but my children knew him from Keyser and recently played with him. It was so sad to learn of what happened. You are in our prayers, I too have children and I don't know how I would have handled a death. He seemed like a sweet little boy and I know he will be truly missed. I am so sorry for the loss of your beloved son, Andrew. Though I don't know you, I know your unbearable pain, as I lost my youngest son suddenly just 7 months ago the 22nd of July. Stay close to Jesus, shed your tears freely, don't be afraid to talk about Andrew with others. They will most likely be uncomfortable talking about Andrew with you because you may cry when they do. Let them know it's OK that you cry as they talk about him. Get a journal and begin to write in it daily, as much or as little as you want. I pray you will receive all the answers you need to be at peace. The Lord will see us through this.

I didn't know him that well but I do know he was a great kid and didn't deserve this kind of death. You don't know me but I met Andrew once at my sons house where he was being babysat. and he seemed like such a nice little boy and I write this with a heavy heart because I do understand your pain. I know that the pain is so very unbearable, but with time it will ease. Please remember that god is there for you and although you'll never forget, the memories will be less painful to remember. In My Pocket
I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.
My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.
They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.
Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.
But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.
Andrew was not only the boy next door, he was like a brother to Alyssa, a playmate to many and friends with many. We have many fond memories of Andrew from him coming to Alyssa's first Birthday here in Ohio to Him and Alyssa going out on Andrews first "date". Watching Andrew grow from that shy little one to learning to ride is bike with no training wheels.
Amy, John Rich and the rest of your family, please know we will not forget Andrew and the good times we all shared. You all are in our thoughts and prayers. As there is no real words to express the loss we all share at this time, just remember we are all here for you.
Andrew we know you are now in heaven watching over us and keeping us safe,and we are thankful to have you as our gaurdian angel. Give your grandma lots of XOXOX's and we will see you soon.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
