I miss you grandma. I try to remember your smell, your voice and your xxoos. It was never going to be ok for you to go. But, I know you are young again (you hated being old). I know you are with Grandpa. You went out how you wanted to. You lived life the spunky lady you were always. I am a grandma now. I wish you would have been here to share it with. But we sang your songs to him and he has known honey bee since the day he was born. I just miss you grandma. I found an old voice-mail from you about a year after you died. To hear your voice again was like a gift from heaven. I wish I still had it. You are still loved and still missed. I love you so much.

Ann was always there in a bind... She cared for her family and friends. When she found out that I was teaching classes at my church, she was there. My favorite memory of her was before Terry and I got married. Terry had the bright ideal of going to his Mom's house to do laundry. I said, "She is not at home." He said, "Oh, don't worry she never stays here, she is at her boyfriend's in Waterville." So I put everything in the washer, and Terry had stepped out to go get something, not sure what, but he wasn't there. In a few moments in walked Ann and Dick. I was so embarrassed because I'm thinking that this lady has a strange girl at her house doing laundry. I finally found the courage to walk out of the laundry room. She knew I felt funny. I said, "Terry said that you would not be here and that it would be OK to do laundry here." She looked at me and smiled and said, "Terry sure can dirty a lot of laundry can't he?" She put me completely at ease. That was just her, she knew how to handle situations. I can honestly say that I'm glad that I knew her. RIP Ann.

The best Grandma ever! I am so blessed that not only did I get to have her for a Grandma but my children did, too. She shined bright right up until she was taken from us. And she will continue to shine in our memories. Love you so much, Grandma.

Kathy, I am speechless on the passing of your mom. Just seeing her and bowling with her this summer, enjoying herself. I know she is with our LORD and Savior at this time.
