Barbara Arquette Obituary
September 1, 1942 - July 29, 2025
Barb J. (Karpinski) Arquette, 82, of Toledo, OH, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 29, 2025. She was born on September 1, 1942, to Edward and Mary Karpinski, in Toledo. Barb was a loving sister, mother, grandmother, and aunt. She was a proud graduate of Central Catholic High School, class of 1960.
Barb had a huge heart with the ability to make people feel welcome. Her greatest achievement in life would be the love she had for her children, Denise, Chris; and her grandchild, Lindsay.
She was involved with the Girl Scouts; loved to shop; enjoyed travelling (especially to the Amish); loved animals (especially dogs and birds); enjoyed family gatherings; relished going out to eat with her family; and treasured Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays.
Barb is survived by her daughter, Denise (Brian) Clark, of Toledo, OH; son, Chris (Robin) Arquette, of Stowe, OH; granddaughter, Lindsay (Jen Ryder) Clark, of Pembroke, NH; sister, Fran Hughes, of Williamsburg, VA; brother, Rick Karpinski (Mary Lou), of Williamsburg, VA; brother, Jack Karpinski, of Metamora, OH; and former husband, Dennis Arquette, of Sylvania, OH.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Mary Karpinski, of Toledo, OH.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held privately for Barb's children, grandchild, and their spouses, at Coyle Funeral Home, 1770 Reynolds Road, on Friday, August 8th, from 2-4 p.m.
Barb's children would like to thank the people of Franciscan Care Center for taking care of Mom over the past two years. And a special thank you to the great people at First Health Hospice for the last few days Mom was in their care.
Mom, you are finally home in Heaven where you get to rejoice with the angels and vast in the glory of being in the presence of Jesus Christ and God, our heavenly father. We love you and you will be missed.
