Barbara Jones-Wilson Obituary
Barbara Patricia Jones-Wilson, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and cousin passed this life on Thursday, May 5, 2022, in Toledo, OH.
Barbara accepted Christ early in life. She attended Second Baptist Church and was a dedicated member of the Indiana Avenue Missionary Baptist Church. She was a graduate of Jesup W. Scott High School. Once a Bulldog, Always a Bulldog! She worked as an administrative professional with several companies in Toledo, OH, Los Angeles, CA, and Atlanta, GA before retiring.
She was preceded in death by both parents and 7 brothers.
Surviving to carry on her legacy of love and kindness are her daughter, Audra Marie Wilson; grandson, Calvin "CJ" Hodges; sisters, Ann King, of Las Vegas, NV, Cora Jones, and Tina (Timothy) Lawrence; foster sisters, Charvetta and Andrea Mitcham; sisters-in-law, Gloria Jones, Victoria Jones, and Leona Jones; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, May 15, 2022 at Indiana Avenue Missionary Baptist Church 5:00 p.m. visitation, followed by services at 5:30 p.m. Reverend Dr. Willie L. Perryman, Jr., Eulogist. Cremation services entrusted to House of Day Funeral Home.
