Beverly McGivern Obituary

MCGIVERN
Beverly
Beverly McGivern, of Perrysburg, Ohio passed away peacefully on Monday morning, November 21, at Toledo Hospital at the age of 73,
surrounded by her loving family. Beverly had a severe cardiac arrest the day before and never awoke.
Beverly was born October 26, 1943, to John and Mary Husar in Cleveland, OH. She met her husband, Joseph and got married in 1963. Just a few years after, they left Cleveland and lived in several different cities, including Streamwood, IL, Liverpool, NY, Wilmington, DE, before finally settling in Perrysburg in 1978.
About that same time, she began helping Joseph and Michael, her husband and son, start a family business, which became McGivern Jewelers. For nearly 40 years, she has worked with her family in the business, as an extremely valued employee. She has made countless friends along the way, due to her very easy
going nature, and she will leave a large hole, that can never be filled.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Joseph; two sons, Michael (Trina) and Kevin, both of Perrysburg, OH; sister, Joyce Zorko of Brooklyn, OH; and two grandchildren, Katie and Sean.
There will be no service, per Beverly's request. Anyone wishing to make a memorial contribution, please consider her two favorite charities: Cherry Street Mission,
Toledo or the Salvation Army.

Joe and Family: We are so sorry to hear about Bev's passing. I can't believe it. She was a true lady, always happy and smiling. We were in the store about a year ago and talked about meeting for dinner. When we come back to Toledo, for the Holiday's we'll stop to visit you. We just buried my Brother Bob Kischkau, from Toledo, 6 days ago. I hope they are laughing and talking about us. We now have GUARDIAN ANGELS IN HEAVEN. Love to You and your Family. The last time I saw Bev was in June at the store. We reminisced about our Maumee Elks days and good times. She was always a gracious lady.
