Hi Dad

I just wanted to say I am thinking of you every single day and I miss you so much! There are so many things I wish I would have said and done and I can't change that now. I hope you know how much you meant to me and how much I love you but I wish I would have told you more! I am honored to say you are my father and I am so thankful for how hard you worked all your life for us! You are an amazing father and I am grateful I had the time with you I did I just wish it wouldn't have ended so soon! I remember when Rhea and Ronnie and Ryan use to call me daddy's little angel because they thought I never got in any trouble, but I guess now you are my angel! I love you dad and I know you will be there to see and me get married, but I wish you would be there to walk me down the aisle! Love and miss you terribly!! XXOXOXO

Lord make me a rainbow, I’ll shine down on my family. They'll know I’m safe with you when they stand under my colors. Life ain't always what you think it ought to be, no ain't even gray, but they burie their father, brother, and husband. The sharp knife of a short life, well I’ve had just enough time. If I die young bury me in satin. Lay me down... on a bed of roses. Sink me in the river at dawn. Send me away with the words of a love song. A penny for my thoughts, oh no I’ll sell them for a dollar. They're worth so much more after I’m a goner. And maybe then you’ll hear the words I been singin’. Funny when you're dead how people start listenin’. The ballad of a dove. Go with peace and love. Gather up your tears, keep ‘em in your pocket. Save them for a time when your really gonna need 'em. ? I know your rockin with the big guy.We love and miss you. I know you probably already know, but me and Lisa are getting married on Oct.8,2011.We will save a seat for you.

Uncle Bob, I have so many memories of when I was younger that have you in them! I remember you were the one who took me for my very first motorcycle ride when Grandma and Grandpa lived on ValleyForge. You were the one who gave me my first Drum set that I drove my parents crazy with! There are a few more memories like listening to you play your guitar in the basement and listening to your albums with you!! I will never forget those times! They were about 30-35 yrs ago but I cherish them forever! I will miss talking to you on the phone, and seeing you at family gatherings!!
I LOVE YOU UNCLE BOB! Until we see each other again! Love your niece, Jenny

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

I am deeply saddened to read of the passing of Bob (aka Wolfman by his Powertrain friends). I will always remember the many laughs and talk of fishing that we shared. Bob was a great guy and would give the shirt off of his back to help a friend. He will be missed.
