Boyd was my childhood friend from Wilcox St. I was around 6 yrs old when we met. My family and his family lived across the street from each other. We used to play softball in the street. Well when my turn came to bat I hit him right in the eye with the ball
I dropped that bat and ran as fast as I could Boyd was chasing me! I saw him at Walmart on Glendale a few years ago and he asked me if I remember doing that. I said yes and both of us started laugh! After 64 yrs we both remembered that! My condolences to the family. Rest in peace my friend.

We were college classmates and of the same graduation class. We were also fraternity brothers. He will be sorely missed.
He's with the father now, what a celebration.
