Dennis & Judy - You may not remember me but I was an occupational therapist who worked with Brian at Hiawatha Elementary. I recently heard from the Adapted Physical Ed teacher that Brian had passed and my heart is filled with memories of his beautiful smile and cheery disposition. He was a great teacher to me as a new OT and one I will never forget. My thoughts and prayers are with you both!

Brian will be greatly missed by all who knew him. We had the HONOR of becoming family. Brian had the most infectious SMILE and personality to go along with it. We cherish all the times and beautiful memories we have of Brian. I know he is no longer in pain, and is able to do things he had done in many years. Our hearts still ache with the loss of Brian. Dennis and Judy who are the most wonderful parents our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Judy and Dennis,

You know how heartbroken I am at the loss of Brian. You are all a very important part of my MDA family. Brian was a TRUE friend who loved me no matter what and yours and his support has meant the world to me. I could talk to him about anything and I enjoyed our regular chats. I will miss those the most. We had a lot in common and I don't think I can watch a NASCAR race or play a first person shooter without thinking of Brian fondly. You know if you need anything - to talk, vent, etc. I am here. You know how to reach me. Love you. Ash and Robert send their condolences, as well. I am so glad Brian and Ash got to know each other, if only on Facebook. I know she wanted to meet him and you all, but at least they were able to get to know each other before he passed on.

I am so sorry to hear of Brian's passing. He was welcomed by the arms of Jesus and has now gained the ability to walk and be pain free. My brother always had fun with Brian at MDA camp and I will definetly miss his smile and jokes at the telethon.

Dennis and Judy,
Words can't express how sorry I am for your loss. Brian had a smile that lit up the room, and the personality to match. I will always remember him for his courage in the face of incredible adversity. What a fight he gave. God Bless you both, and your family...

Helsel Family,
I was so sorry to read of Brian's passing. He was such a COOL guy! I worked with him briefly at Hiawatha school and we still talked occasionally through facebook. The world will be a little dimmer without his beautiful smile...
