Catherine Krajewski Obituary
Catherine "Busia" Ann Krajewski, age 89, of Rockford, formerly of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on November 22, 2022 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She was born on September 6, 1933 to Ralph and Sophia (Pheifer) Hummer in Toledo, Ohio.
Busia loved her dogs, bowling, sailing, cross stitch, knitting, and growing her African violets. She also loved a good cup of coffee, watching game shows, and was an avid reader.
Catherine is survived by her loving husband of sixty-nine years, Stanley; daughter, Sharon (Bruce) Nowak; granddaughters, Melissa (Jason) Omo, Ashley (Rob Greenlaw-Moore) Shank, Shannon (Josh) Donkin; great-grandchildren, Sayde Omo, Broedy Fugate, Layla Fugate, Demi-Leigh Fugate, Sophia Donkin; brother, Lester Hummer; sister, Margaret Sondergeld. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Ralph Hummer, Jr.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 28, 2022, at the Our Lady of Consolation Catholic Church, 4865 11 Mile Rd. NE, Rockford, Michigan, with Fr. Danny Orris presiding. There will be a time of visitation with the family one hour prior to Mass at church. Memorials in Catherine's name are suggested to the Our Lady of Consolation Catholic Church. I´m so sorry I missed your call. I tried to call you but I have the wrong number. Be assured of my prayers for Catherine and especially for your peace and consolation. Catherine was such a lovely, kind person. I´m sure she is in the arms of her loving God.
