Denise, Cindy, and Greg... I'm sooo sorry about your dad. Our families were blessed with many many years of very fond memories from the close friendship of our parents. I was very honored to have your dad and mom as my God parents. They were both very fun loving people and will greatly missed. Chuck was my neighbor for many years. Even though I grew up and moved away, I still think about Chuck and Nancy in my fond memories of the old neighborhood. When I come back to Toledo I always drive by my old home that I grew up in re-living old memories. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

I will truly miss Mr. Bunker. I will miss him coming through the grass on his motor scooter to come "chat" with me, tell me all the stories of the neighborhood WAY BACK WHEN. He always made me laugh with his stories of his friends "that he still has". Mr. Bunker always made me feel so welcomed in the neighborhood, even though I was the New Kid!!! Rest In Peace. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you. I'm here if you need anything.

Dear Cindy and Family:

It's been many years since we were kids ourself, however; I remember your mom and dad when we all played as children in the summer. Your father was a kind person with a nice smile. I remember his beautiful lawn at your first house. He was always taking such good care of it and it was beautiful. My parents have since passed away, however, I will remember all the old neighbors, including your parents, fondly in my memories. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.

He was a great co-worker - always feisty and entertaining. I'm sure he will be welcomed in the beyond to keep things interesting.

I have known Charlie for all my life as we grew up in the same neighbor-hood, spending a lot of time together during our younger years. As we all grew up and married, along with my wife Barbara, we still saw him and Nancy on many occasions. We were all part of the North End and still see many of these old friends yet today. Our sincere condolences go out to Cindy, Denise and Greg. He will be missed.
