Charles Gene Slusher

Charles Gene Slusher, 89, of Kersey, passed away November 23, 2018 at NCMC. Charles was born to John and Myrtle Slusher on January 10, 1929 in Toledo, Ohio. He married Coralie Jones on September 3, 1977.

Charles was a veteran of the Korean War, having served from 1948 to 1952 in the Army National Guard. He later made his career of 50 years being a brick layer, owning his own business, Lambertville Camper Sales in Lambertville and also worked at the SA Storer & Sons in Toledo, OH. He prided himself on always have a strong work ethic.

He was very ambitious, loved the mountains, being outdoors and had a love for animals, especially his cats.

He is survived by his wife, Coralie Slusher; ex-wife, Bonnie Fugate; sons, Kim (Bonnie) and Rod (Autumn) Slusher; step-children, Chloe Ann Jones, Ruth Staley, Paul (Sandy) Jones, Bob (Terry) Jones and Jackie Jones; sisters, Barbara Carr of Las Vegas NV, and Nancy Moliszewski of Toledo, OH; Carol Slusher of Toledo, OH and Ann Slusher of Palmyra, many grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and three brothers.

Service will be at 1:00 P.M. Sunday, December 9, 2018 at the Masonic Lodge, M-151 and Jackman Road, Samaria, MI.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Kersey Community Church, and Grace Community Bible Church in care of Allnutt Funeral Service 702 13th St. Greeley, CO 80631.
