Charles Smith Obituary
Charles H. Smith, age 84, of Toledo, OH, passed away on July 29, 2023. He was born to Charles and Julie (Toth) Smith on September 16, 1938. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp. where he served 6 years as a Firefighter and an M.P. Chuck spent his career working as a Printer for over 40 years at I.A.M. and other shops around the country.
He is survived by his wife, Jacquelyn (Pitzen); son, Charles (Diana); grandsons, Jeremy, Jonathan, Justin (Katie), Jacob (Rachael), Dominic; granddaughter, Eron (Mike) Schohn; and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Donna; brothers, James, Peter and William; and uncle, Peter Toth.
Friends may visit at the Coyle Funeral Home, 1770 S. Reynolds Rd., on Wednesday, August 2nd from 3:00-7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 3rd beginning at 12:45 p.m., in the mortuary followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Charles Borromeo Church at 1:30 p.m. Interment Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.

Our deepest sympathies to Jackie and family. Chuck was a great and caring man. I remember him as always being there to help others. He always had a positive attitude and would make family gatherings upbeat and entertaining. He will be sorely missed. RIP
