Dan Witt Obituary

Our loving father, Dan William Witt, passed with his family by his side on Monday, August 21, 2023. He passed after a tragic plane accident in Spartanburg, SC on Sunday.
He leaves behind his son, Jerrod (Elizabeth); his granddaughter, Chloe; his daughter, Kaitlyn (Grant); wife, Courtney; brother, Dale (Missy); sister, Tina; and first wife, Kathi.
Dan was born and raised in Akron, OH. He had a love for aviation and earned his pilots license. Dan was a smart, determined, and driven man who pursued his goals. Dan always had many projects and showed his love through acts of service to others.
Dan married Courtney in 2022. Courtney and Dan provided each other happiness and love. He recently became a grandfather to Chloe who he loved deeply.
We would like to give sincere thanks to the Reidville Fire Department, EMS, ICU Staff, and civilians who rushed to his aide.
A celebration of life will be held at Ohio Prestwick Country Club in Uniontown, OH (3751 Glen Eagles Blvd., Uniontown, OH 44685). Saturday August 26, 2023. 3:00-5:00 p.m. Attire is business causal. All are welcome.

I am soooo sorry. I just learned of Dans passing. My deepest condolences to the entire family... He loved his family, he finally found his happiness, i was planning to her his happiness stories the next many years. May God give him Peace and embrace him in Love. Bye my friend, I will miss you.
