Daniel Joseph Robaskiewicz

Daniel Joseph Robaskiewicz, age 97, of Toledo, passed away on Sunday, March 12, 2023 at Kingston Assisted Living of Sylvania. He was born on March 9, 1926 in Toledo, OH to Frank J. and Mary (Grajczyk) Robaskiewicz. Daniel employed as an assembler for the Jeep Corporation for 26 years, retiring in 1988. He also worked for 6 years as a glass cutter for LOF. A Veteran of the 82nd Airborne Division of the US Army, he was a member of the VFW Buddy Frankowski Post 5530, CWV Logsdon-Walla Post 639, American Legion Walter Weller Post 135 and the F.O.E Eagles Aerie 2322. Daniel enjoyed bowling and golf. He was a member of Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.

Daniel is survived by his son, Paul (Marcia) Robaskiewicz; daughter, Katherine Robaskiewicz; grandchildren, Brendan, Hannah, and Grace Robaskiewicz; and 2 great-grandchildren, Scout and Ronin Leu. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Sophia (Machcinski) Robaskiewicz; brother, Frank; and sister, Mary Rose Kustra.

Visitation will be Friday, March 17 from 2-7 p.m. at Sujkowski Funeral Home Northpointe, 114 E. Alexis Rd. with a Rosary at 6:30 p.m. Funeral services will begin Saturday at 10:15 a.m. in the funeral home and continue with the Funeral Mass in Most Blessed Sacrament Church at 11 a.m. Interment with Military Honors led by the VFW 606 Burial Corps will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
