Daniel Paul Szymanski

Daniel P. Szymanski, 78, of Genoa, Ohio, passed away peacefully, Thursday, September 9, 2021. Dan was born April 8, 1943 in Toledo, Ohio to Joseph and Mary (Meszaros) Szymanski and was a 1966 graduate of Macomber High School. He worked for Appliance Parts in sales and operated Sparkle Cleaning Janitorial Service for many years. His hobbies included listening to his HAM radio, woodworking, and tending the many flower and vegetable gardens around the family home. Dan is survived by his wife of 49 years, Mary Ann; sons, Dan P. Szymanski II and Lawrence Szymanski; siblings, Christine Lance and Frederick (Mary Ann) Szymanski. Dan was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Ronnie, Gloria, Carrie, Marlene, and Larry. The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel 1111 Woodville Road on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Expressions of sympathy may be directed to Cherry Street Mission Ministries or Boys Town Toledo.
