Datheon Henry Obituary

HENRY Mrs. Datheon V. Stubblefield Mrs. Datheon V. Stubblefield Henry 89, passed away November 13, 2007, at the home of her daughter. Born November 3, 1918, in Paris, TN, she was a member of Third Baptist Church and a former member of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church. Many years before its popularity, Mrs. Henry was a follower of Holistic Medicine. She studied health and nutrition and had a regime of exercises and vitamins. The member of a birthday club, the friends dined out and had a variety of activities. One of thirteen children, Mrs. Henry was preceded in death by all of her siblings, as well as her husband, of 45 years, Bradie B. Henry. Because of the untimely death of her parents, Talley and Bertha Stubblefield, she was raised by her older brother and sister-in-law George and Lona Mae Stubblefield, who also preceded her in death. She leaves to cherish her memory, daughter, Bernadine (James H.) Powell (their children, Valerie, Eric and Gregory Powell), daughter, Gloria (George) Hillard (their children, Marlon Hillard and Glynis Fuentes), daughter, Deborah (Donald) McCreary (their children and special grandchild and caregiver, Sonja and Stephen McCreary); son, Alvin Henry, son, Frederick Henry (his children, Khalid, Akilah, Alexia and Enjoli Henry); 10 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Visitation will be Friday 4 - 6 p.m., followed by wake services 6 - 8 p.m. Dale-Riggs Funeral Home Chapel, funeral services Saturday, 11:00 a.m., Third Baptist Church, Pastor Kevin J.
