To my family,
This unimaginable act has caused a ship load grief, unanswered questions, and runaway thoughts. However, WE MUST lean not to our own understanding and cling to God's will and His way. He brings order out of chaos. Praises and prayer to God in the mighty name of Jesus is the order of this life. Remember always what the matriarch of our family (Grandma Minnie) would say at times such as this, "GOD IS ABLE" and "THANK GOD FOR WELL AS IT IS"! As for me, I know that The Great I AM that I AM can do anything, but fail!!! I pray that He sends a legion of angels to wrap arms around my entire family. I suggest this simple, but powerful scripture to you: Matthew ch.6 v 33- But seek ye the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all things shall be added unto you.

To my family,
This unimaginable event has caused a ship load of grief, unanswered questions, and many runaway thoughts. However, WE MUST lean not to our own understanding. Instead, cling to His will and His way. As the matriarch of the Phenix family, (Minnie Phenix) would say in times such as these, "God is able"! As for me, God can do anything but fail!!!

D.J. we are going to miss you so much. To the family of David S. Joiner, may God comfort you during this time of grief. We watched D.J. grow and mature into the man he had become. Watching his joy as he took on his new responsibility. Rest Assured that he's at God's side.
