David LaCourse Obituary

David John LaCourse

David John LaCourse, age 75, of Toledo, OH, passed away at home on Saturday, March 15, 2025. He was born on June 26, 1949, in Martin, OH, to Earl Harold and Ethelyn V. (Coutcher) LaCourse. David began his working career as a grill cook at the McDonalds on Monroe and Auburn. A proud Teamster, he went on to work for many years for the Duff Truck Line, and as a truck driver for USF Holland, retiring in 2000. He married the love of his life, Malinda, June 26, 1971, and they spent many happy years until her passing in 2019.

David leaves behind his children, David Scott (Jamie) LaCourse, and John LaCourse; his grandchildren, Kaylee, Lucas, and Madison LaCourse; siblings, Rebecca Saunders, Robert LaCourse, and Thomas (Paige) LaCourse; and sister-in-law, Alice LaCourse. In addition to his parents; and wife, Malinda; he was preceded in death by his brother, Earl LaCourse; and brother-in-law, Roger Saunders.

Services will be private with inurnment in Calvary Cemetery with his beloved wife. Arrangements have been entrusted to Sujkowski Funeral Home Northpointe, 419-476-9176. Online condolences may be left at www.sujkowski.com.
