I was a good friend of Dave and we would study together for our accounting classes back in the early 80's at the University of Toledo. Working together made those tough accounting classes more bearable. I lost touch with him in the 90's when he moved to MI. He was a very special person and always spoke of his family. "Big Dave" will always be remembered.

He was a man of extraordinary strength and compassion - a gentle giant indeed. I only regret I knew him for so short a time. My thoughts are with you all.
