David Spradlin Obituary

SPRADLIN

David G.

David G. Spradlin, age 60, of Toledo, passed away on November 5, 2015, after a brief battle with cancer. Dave was born to Glenn and Betty (Williams) Spradlin November 11, 1954, in Lenoir City, Tennessee.

David was a talented photographer, a loving and wonderful husband and father, stepfather, an outstanding grandfather and friend.

David is survived by his wife of 14 years, Darlene Spradlin; his daughter by a previous marriage, Brooks Spradlin; stepchildren, Bryan Gibson, Lisa Crye (Jon), Olivia Demchyna (Jordan) and eight beautiful grandchildren who adore him; brothers, Dean Spradlin and Glenn Spradlin; also his brother by choice and partner in "crime," Robert Schmidt.

Per David's wishes there was no service, rather he chose to donate his remains to medical research. A private gathering was held at his stepdaughter's home on Sunday with close family and friends attending.

David's family would like to express their deepest and sincerest gratitude for your thoughts, prayers and generosity during this difficult time.

So sorry for your loss Darlene. Although we didn't know David, we waved over the fence when we saw him in the backyard. Praying for you and your family.

Darlene I am so sorry for you and your family's loss. Dave was a wonderful person as well as a fantastic photographer. Without his help I wouldn't be the photographer I am today. May you find peace in this difficult time.
