Dawn has been my class custodian for the 8 years I have been teaching. She always had a smile on her face and would daily ask about my family and my son. She made me laugh with every encounter and I absolutely loved seeing her each day. She made work feel more like home. Thank you Dawn for being that person in my day. I am only sorry I didn't tell you the impact you have had sooner. To Dawns family, while I am unable to be there in person, my prayers are with you. Thank you for sharing your sweet soul with us at AWJH. I have been so blessed by her and I truly am the lucky one for having known her and worked with her. I am so deeply sorry for your loss.

This is such terrible news. Dawn has been my class custodian for ten plus years now. I'm going to miss her terribly. She had a heart of gold, the most generous spirit and that giggle...she was an absolute gem and I'm really going to miss her.

It's really hard to believe that I will no longer see her strolling down the hall with her garbage can listening to terrible music! My heart breaks for her family too...she was so proud of her boys and loved them so much!

Enjoy heaven, Dawn! Tell Justin hello from all of us down here!!! I'll miss you!
