Debra Hensley Obituary
Debra Ann
Debra Ann Hensley, 60, of Temperance, MI passed away on September 12, 2016, in The Toledo Hospital. The daughter of James and Anna (Scsavnicki) Kowalski, she was born on June 23, 1956, in Toledo, OH. A loving mother, her greatest joy in life was being with her family. Debra was a graduate of Whitmer High school. On June 7, 1986, she married the love of her life Rick Hensley; he preceded her in death in 2007. Debra worked at Columbia Gas as a Service Tech for over 20 years where she retired last July. An avid bowler, she also loved to gamble, watch Detroit Tiger games and go on family vacations.
She is survived by her loving daughters, Sandra (Bruce) Herbster, Brandi (Andrew) Patton; sister, Jackelyn (Craig) Compton; grandchildren, Josie, Allison, Chelsie, Challie, Brandon, Laurin , Jesse; nephew, Adam and nieces Chloe and Ava. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rick; parents; brother, Dale Kowalski and sister, Marcia Riffle.
Family and friends may visit Thursday, September 15, 2016, from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in Urbanski's Bedford Funeral Chapel, 8300 Lewis Avenue, Temperance, MI where the funeral service will be held Friday, September 16, 2016 at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Whiteford Union Cemetery.
