Delores Tucholski Obituary
Delores A. Tucholski, age 88, of South Toledo, passed away on Friday, June 30, 2017 at the Northwest Ohio Hospice Center in South Toledo. Delores was born in Toledo, Ohio on March 30, 1929, the daughter of Felix and Stella Spychala. After graduating from Whitney High School, she was employed at LaSalle's department store downtown as a G.E. products demonstrator. In the late 60's and early 70's she worked for the Toledo Jewelers Supply Company. In her later years, she made many beautiful decorations which she shared with family and friends. She also loved to decorate the house for each holiday season. For entertainment, Delores liked to watch and listen to anything related to country music especially the country music top 20 countdown on Saturday and Sunday mornings. She also liked to go gambling at the Hollywood Casino with her son Gary, and usually came home a winner. Delores was a loving Wife, Mother, neighbor and friend and always helped out family and friends with whatever they needed.
Delores was preceded in death by her parents; husband Joseph in 2013, and infant son Gregory. She is survived by her son Gary.
Family and friends may visit Wednesday from 3-8 p.m. at the W. K. Sujkowski & Son Funeral Home, 3838 Airport Hwy. Funeral services will begin with prayers at the mortuary on Thursday July 6, 2017 at 9:15 a.m. followed by the Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery. The family prefers tributes be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio. The family expresses heartfelt thanks to the staff of Hospice of Northwest Ohio and a special thanks to home care nurse Stephanie French, and home care aide Cindy Samson, for the compassionate care given to Delores during her illness.
