Diane Radabaugh Obituary

Diane L. Radabaugh

Diane Louise (Beckmann) Radabaugh, 85, born August 28, 1939, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 27, 2025, surrounded by family.

Diane married the love of her life, Raymond C. Radabaugh, on November 29, 1963. Together, they built a loving home and shared over six decades of marriage filled with devotion, laughter, and adventure.

She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Education from the University of Toledo in 1964, and went on to touch many lives as a substitute teacher in the Toledo (OH) Public Schools and the Owen J. Roberts School District (Bucktown, PA).

Diane was a woman of many talents and passions. She loved playing cards, crafting, and cross-stitching. She had a deep appreciation for travel and was an active member of the Winnebago RV Club, exploring the country with Ray and making cherished memories along the way. Her greatest joy, however, came from time spent with her family.

Diane is survived by her devoted husband, Ray; and their three children, Mark (Paula), Kristi (Rob) Smith, and Scott (Marlena). She is also survived by her brothers, Dale (Nancy), Todd (Shelly), and Kent (Hazel); her beloved grandchildren, Bradley (Katherine), Jacob, and Nicholas Radabaugh, Adam, Benjamin, and Erin Smith, Lucille Natalie and Tommy Radabaugh; and great-grandchild, Beau; and many nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Louis (Pat) Beckmann; sister-in-law, Emily Beckmann; sister, Judith Scharren; and her parents, Louis and Ruth Beckmann.

Diane's warmth, generosity, and quiet strength will be remembered by all who knew her.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Beach House Family Shelter of Toledo, or Hospice NW Ohio.

A time of visiting will be held at Epworth Methodist Church, 4855 Central Ave., from 11 a.m.-12 p.m., with a funeral service beginning at 12 p.m. Interment will follow at Historic Woodlawn, in Toledo.

The family expresses gratitude to StoryPoint Waterville Memory Care and Hospice of Northwest Ohio for their care.

Ray, I was so sorry to hear of Diane’s passing. I have such good memories of all of the years that we were neighbors. I admired her quiet strength and loving nature. Her needlework was extraordinary. May your faith sustain you during this difficult time and may her memory be eternal.

I´m so sorry Ray and family to hear this. Diane was always such a nice neighbor and person. Fond memories from White Oak Ct when we all moved in there about the same time
