Dolores E. Cluckey, age 92 years old, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on December 28, 2023, at The Lakes of Sylvania. Dee was an avid bowler and golfer. She loved cake decorating and painting beautiful pictures. In her spare time, Dee enjoyed playing euchre with family and friends, and she always rooted for THE OHIO STATE BUCKEYES!! Dee worked for Champion Spark Plug and the Washington Local School System. After she retired, she went to UT and received her associate degree in accounting. She was very proud of making the dean's list, more than once.
Dolores was born on March 1, 1931, in Whitehouse, Ohio, the daughter of Harry and Jessie (Bollinger) Sherman. She then married Frank L. Cluckey, and he precedes her in death.
Left to cherish her memory include her children, Jon (Cindy) Cluckey, Wayne (Michelle) Cluckey, Sr.; grandchildren, Wayne (Rebecca) Cluckey, Jr., Melanie (Josh) Morgan, and Kimberly Vergiels; 8 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren with another on the way. Dee was preceded in death by one daughter, Nancy; and her husband, Frank L. Cluckey.
The Family of Dolores would like to thank Lakes of Sylvania and Hospice for all their care.
Per Dolores's request there will be no services.
