Dolores Upton Obituary
Dolores A. Upton, 97, passed away peacefully at the Manor at Perrysburg on Monday, March 20, 2023. She was born May 12, 1925, in Toledo to Chester and Hattie Rojek.
Dolores became a licensed Cosmetologist at 21 years old. She had several jobs in the Toledo area. She was married to Ralph Heath, who passed away the young age of 45. She later married Glen Upton who passed away in 1992.
Dolores loved to crochet, play Bingo, thrift shopping, crossword puzzles and taking long walks. She was so proud of her Polish heritage and loved to listen to polka music. She joined the Fraternal Order of Eagles later in life and loved to spend time at their dances. She was full of life, loved to tell stories and will forever be remembered for her "spunky" spirit.
Dolores is survived by her four children, Robert (Elizabeth) Heath, Christine (Ronald) Eckhardt, Kathleen "Cookie" (Thomas) Butler and Susan "Suzie (James) Beecham; 13 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren, as well as many step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Ralph Heath and Glen Upton; and great-grandchild, James Beharman.
Friends and family are invited to visit Sunday, March 26, 2023, from 2:00pm -7:00 p.m. at Ansberg-West Funeral Home, 3000 W. Sylvania where a memorial service will begin at 7:00 p.m. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Manor at Perrysburg.
