Donald Studneski Obituary

Donald J. Studneski

Donald J. Studneski, age 62, of Curtice, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, June 26, 2025, at Mercy Health-St. Vincent Medical Center. He was born on July 30, 1962, to John and Diane Studneski. Don was a 1980 graduate of Clay High School. He started working on the family farm, eventually working at various places over the years. Don also was a volunteer fireman for the Jerusalem Township Fire Department for a few years. In his spare time, Don enjoyed spending time fishing, and watching Detroit Red Wings, and the Tigers.

Don is survived by his father, John Studneski; sister, Dawn (Evan) Mahaney; niece, Brittany (Jeremy) Woernley; great-niece and nephew, Jack and Vera Kate; aunts and uncles, Diana and Pat McCormick, Robert (Vonda) Davidson, and Deb (Scott) Critten; and his significant other, Sue Wolfe. He was preceded in death by his mother, Diane Studneski; and brother-in-law, Jack "Jay" Loar.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd, in Oregon, on Monday, June 30, 2025, from 5:00-6:30 p.m., where services will be held at 6:30 p.m. Memorial contributions can be made to the Jerusalem Township Fire Department.
