Donna Courtright Obituary
Ron Howell's partner's life ended tragically on Monday, September 22, 2014. Donna was born on January 31,
1953 in Greenville, Ohio, the daughter of James Cloyd and Erma Jean Cloyd. Donna spent 30 years of her life caring for our precious elderly at the Swan Pointe Care Center in Maumee, Ohio.
She will be dearly missed by Ron; her family; the residents and her colleagues of Swan Pointe, especially her good friend, Marybeth Kropaczewski. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jac Courtright. She is survived by her parents; brother, Edward Cloyd; sister, Margie (Jim) McClear; nephew, Dexter Housman; niece, Darcie Housman; and special mother-in-law, Vanda Vanwormer; also stepdaughter, Becky Franks.
A celebration of her life will be held at Swan Pointe Care Center, 3600 Butz Road, Maumee, Ohio from 2 - 4 p.m. on Saturday, October 4th. Memorials will be used to
establish "Donna's Garden" at the Swan Pointe facility for the residents she deeply cared for. Donna was passionate for anything that grows and loved tending her garden.
