Donna Marie Dunbar, loving mother of three children: Boyd Dunbar of Clinton, CT, his wife, Sue and his two children, Patrick and Brenna Dunbar; Keith Dunbar of Sylvania, OH and his son,Tyler Dunbar; Linda Dunbar-Motz of El Dorado Hills and her husband, Rob Motz and their two children, Paris and Marin.
She was born and raised in Ridgeville Corners, OH to Margaret and Harold Wendt, a hardworking farmer's daughter and a devoted Lutheran. She graduated from Ridgeville High School and then from Northwest Tech. For many years she was owner of Dunbar Floor Covering in Delta, OH, then finally retiring from Fed Ex in 2012. She then moved to CA five years ago to be closer to her daughter and live in the serenity of the Sierra Nevada foothills. She enjoyed downtown Placerville, being a member of First Lutheran Church and her weekend jeep rides with her daughter on the dirt roads of the El Dorado National Forest.
She is survived by her one brother, Gene Wendt of Ridgeville Corners, OH; and her niece and nephews, their families.
The family would like to express thanks to all her wonderful friends at First Lutheran, she loved your cards and visits. Family would also like to recognize all the neighbors who stepped up to help her and loved our mom like she was their own, we could not have done it without you.
If desired, memorial contributions may be made to First Lutheran Church of Placerville, or simply tell someone you love them today.
Funeral service will be held at a later date.

Boyd, Kieth, Linda and families,
Your Mom was always so gentle and kind. She has a calming presence and I always enjoyed talking with her. It was especially fun to hear your mom, my mom and Arlene talk on the phone with me from FL. It was as if they were back in school, laughing and giggling.
