Donna M.
Donna M. (Luettke) Schell, 83, of Metamora, OH, passed Wednesday, November 27, 2013, at Flower Hospital.
Donna's first job was working at the former Tiedtke Department Store. The next 40 plus years of her life were spent working in food service management. Over the years Donna spent 15 years managing the Glengarry Country Club, which hosted the first Jamie Farr Golf Tournament, she also managed the Tamaron Country Club and the Meshingomesa Country Club in Marion, IN, before retiring in 1992.
Donna loved spending time with her family. She was an avid poker player, and enjoyed garage sales, and cooking for her family. Donna was known as the Soup Lady.
She is survived by her daughters, Kathleen (Ray) Cordrey, Cynthia (Terry) Pence, and Abbie (Doug) Kiser; sons, Stephen and Terrance Garczynski and his girlfriend Kathy; 25 grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-granddaughter; sister, Mary Keifer; stepsister, Von McDole; many nieces and nephews, and faithful feline, Mia. Donna was preceded in death by her grandson, Mark Cordrey, and 8 brothers and sisters.
Friends may call at the Reeb Funeral Home, 5712 N. Main St., Sylvania, OH, Tuesday, December 3rd from 2-9 p.m., where Funeral Services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park.
Those wishing to offer memorials are asked to consider the American Heart Association.

Grandma Donna as we all called her was such a special woman. She will always be remembered for her kindness. We will miss her dearly. Kaylee our hearts go out to you. We love you. Rob, Annie, Savannah, and Grandma Sharon. Prayers and love to all.

Donna gave me my first job after I lost my husband back in 1975. I will always be grateful for what she did for me and my four children. Will miss her.

We were long-standing members of Glengarry Country Club, and Donna always greeted everyone with a smile and good cheer. We will always remember her graciousness and commitment to her profession. Our condolences to all of you.
