Dorothy Szabo Obituary

Dorothy Ann Szabo, age 71, of Perrysburg, passed away peacefully on January 16, 2006, at the University of Michigan Hospital after a brief illness. She was born on November 6, 1934, to Stephen and Victoria (Rudzinski) Stolarski in Toledo. Dorothy had worked as a manager for the former Petrie's clothing store for over 30 years. She was a member and vice-president of St. Anthony's Society, member and past president of the Rossford Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 2322 Ladies Auxiliary, member and past financial secretary for the Alliance of Poles Group 48, and was also a member of the CWV Jude Thaddeus Ladies' Auxiliary Post #1675. Dorothy was very active with church activities, enjoyed going out with her lunch group the "Tony's" and cherished the time she spent with her family.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Rosemarie. She will be dearly missed by her husband, William; sons, Stephen (Vicki) and Ronald Sr.; step son, James (Christie) Bechtold; grandchildren, Ronald Jr., Justin, Kyle, Cody, Chelsea and John Michael; sister, Virginia Ross; niece and god-daughter, Laurie Walters and many other nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may visit at the W.K. Sujkowski & Son Funeral Home, 3838 Airport Hwy., on Thursday from 2-8 p.m., with Fraternal Order of Eagles services at 7:00 p.m. followed by a recitation of the Rosary by the CWV Jude Thaddeus Ladies Auxiliary Post #1675 at 7:30 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 20, 2006, at 8:30 a.m. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph Church, Maumee, at 9 a.m. Interment to follow at Calvary Cemetery.
