Dorothy J. (Buescher)



Dorothy J (Buescher) Zonner, 87, of Perrysburg, Ohio formerly Maumee, Ohio a longtime resident of Scott Street passed away June 25, 2013, in the Perrysburg Commons assisted living where she has been a resident for the past year. Born January 11, 1926, in Beardstown, Illinois. Dorothy attended a two room Lutheran Parochial school thru 8th grade and graduated from Willard, Ohio High School in 1943. She married John W. Zonner on March 13, 1949. Dorothy was a longtime member of the Toledo Jazz Society, the Toledo Museum of Art and St. Luke's Hospital Auxiliary where she volunteered many hours in the gift shop.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Zonner in August of 1988; parents, Albert and Hyla (Furnace) Buescher, and brother, William E Buescher.

Surviving are her daughters, Conni (Randall) Derifield, Suzanne Zonner (Marshall Torkelson), Lorraine (Dave) Fink; son, Gerald Zonner fiancée, Cindy Peterson; grandchildren, Andrew

Derifield, Alison Derifield, Elmer Fink, Wayne (Sarah) Fink, Pamela (Lucas) Snowberger, Willy Fink, Adam Zonner, Danny Zonner.

The family will receive friends at the Bersticker-Scott Funeral Home Sunday, June 30, 2013, after 12:00 Noon where services will be held at 1:30 p.m. A private burial will take place at Highland Memory Gardens at a later date. The family suggests memorials to St. Luke's Hospital Auxiliary or to the Salvation Army. Please view and Sign Dorothy's condolence page at
