Edwin F.
Edwin F. Izbinski, age 92, of Toledo, passed away on Wednesday, December 16, 2015, at his home. He was born December 11, 1923, in Toledo, OH to Frank and Agnes (Jasinski) Izbinski. A Veteran of the U.S. Navy, Ed was a diecast diemaker for the Ford Motor Co. in the Rawsonville, Saline, and Milan, MI plants for 30 years. A skilled repairman, he also worked on projects at home and for many Toledo area machine shops. He was a parishioner of St. Clement Catholic Church.
Ed is survived by his daughter, Michelle DeVee; son-in-law, Brett DeVee; son, James Izbinski; sister, Phyllis Kubiak; brothers, Richard and Melvin Izbinski; grandchildren, Cameron, Sasha, Netty, and Maleroy; and great-grandchildren, Vinnie and Mannie. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mary (Koszycki) Izbinski; and sister, Martha Czaplinski.
Family and friends may visit on Monday from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at Sujkowski Funeral Home Northpointe, 114 E. Alexis Rd., with a Scripture Service at 6:30 p.m. Funeral services will begin on Tuesday at 9:15 a.m. in the funeral home and continue with the Funeral Mass in St. Clement Church at 10:00 a.m. The Lucas County Burial Corps will conclude with a Military Committal Service in Calvary Cemetery.

Ed and I worked at Rawsonville and Saline together. And, often car pooled together from Toledo.
He is a great friend of mine.
So sorry to hear of his passing.
