Edyth Oden Obituary
Edyth Ellen Oden, age 68, of Toledo passed away on August 2, 2022, at home. Edith was born to Kenneth Clarence and Lola (Shaffer) Iler on May 7, 1954, in Lansing, Michigan. She was the most giving person who loved being a mom and grandma. In fact, everyone who knew her called her "mom". Edith liked playing Skip-Bo and Yahtzee. She was always happy to visit with family and be around people.
Edith is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, Mark; children, Phillip (Mary) Iler, Crystal (Rodney) Sterling, Austin (Amanda) Sterling, Kenneth (Christina) Sterling, and Ron (Kristy) Depew; grandchildren, Phillip Jr., Debbie, Ashley, Aaron, Katie, Lucas, Brittany, Kristin, Steven, Austin Jr., Cameron, Tyler, Marcus, JT, Domonic, Kaelin, Jaylin, Meiah, Kenneth Jr., Marky, Paul, Anthony, Connor, Cheryl, Michael and Andrea; many great-grandchildren; siblings, Pam Conley, Jeff and Clarence Iler, and Harry (Lori) and Brian Babcock; sister-in-law, Tina Barnes; nephew and niece, Josh and Nicki Iler; and many other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; stepson, Mark Oden Jr.; grandson, Joseph Linarez; and sister, Helen Cranston.
Friends may visit Freck Funeral Chapel 1155 S. Wynn Rd. in Oregon, Ohio on Saturday, August 13, 2022, from 12 Noon to 4 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m.
