Elizabeth Causer Obituary

CAUSER Elizabeth M. Elizabeth M. Causer, age 89, of Maumee passed away on Monday, May 4, 2009. Elizabeth worked many years at Maumee Indoor Theatre, also Holiday Inn on Reynolds Road in housekeeping. Mother was a strong woman she cared for all six children alone after Dad (Howard) passed away October 20, 1995. Mother was old school and always made due with what she had. Family always came first. Surviving are sons, Richard Causer, Swanton, OH, Ronald (Connie) Causer, Sheridan, WY, Jerry (Sylvia) Causer of Arizona, David Causer, Maumee, OH; daughters, Sandy Randall, Toledo, OH, Patty Prebeg, Maumee, OH; grandchildren, Traci, Geoff, Laurie, Jennifer, Jesse, D.J., Alison, Lisa, Steve, Brian, Laurie, Jake and Josh; great- grandchildren, Spencer, Lyndsay, Lauryn, Olivia, Dahlia; nephews, Bob and Paul (Diane) Wirick. I love my Mamaw-Love-Lauryn. A wife, a mother, a grandma too... This is the legacy we have from you. You taught us love and how to fight, You gave us strength, you gave us might. A stronger person would be hard to find, And in your heart, you were always kind. You fought for us all in one way or another, Not just as a wife not just as a mother. For all of us you gave your best, The time came for you to rest. Your love in our hearts will always remain Until the day we can see you again. Family and friends may call at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant St., Maumee on Friday, May 8, 2009, from 4-8 p.m. with a Scripture service at 7:30 p.m. A memorial Mass will be held on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Maumee. www.walkerfuneralhomes.com
