Patricia Causer Obituary
Born Aug. 4, 1930, in Olean, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Phillip and Marie (McGavisk) Cooney. She was a 1948 graduate of Smethport High School.
On Aug. 13, 1949, she married Norman W. Causer, who passed away Feb. 25, 2006.
Pat resided in Coleville for many years and attended St. Elizabeth Church until 2004. She moved to Bradford in 2004 and was a member of St. Bernard Church. She enjoyed restoring furniture and excelled at baking.
Surviving are one son, Steven Causer of DuBois; one sister in-law, Marylin Causer of Bradford; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one brother, John "Jack" (Colleen) Cooney; two sisters-in-law, Lucille (Spurgeon) Witherow and Jean "Teny " (Wesley) Coast; and one brother-in-law, Dale Causer.
Family will receive friends 3:30 to 6 p.m. Thursday (Feb. 6, 2025) at Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc., 33 South Ave. Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. Friday (Feb. 7, 2025) at St. Bernard Church with the Rev. John Jacquel as celebrant. Burial will be in St. Elizabeth Cemetery in Smethport.
Memorial contributions, if desired, may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
Funeral arrangements are under direction of Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc.
