Elizabeth "Betty" Louise Koprowski

Elizabeth Louise Koprowski, 82, of Oregon, Ohio, passed away on Monday, November 25, 2024, the same day as her mother, surrounded by her family. Elizabeth was born on March 29, 1942, in Rocky Ridge, Ohio, to Franklin and Veronica (Brown) Harder.

Betty married her best friend and dancing partner, Edward "Skip" Koprowski. Together they enjoyed traveling to Myrtle Beach and Devil's Lake. She enjoyed going to Pub 51 with her daughter, where she lovingly earned the nickname "Boozer". Betty was known to many as "Bougie Betty" for her hot pink blingy nails and high heels. In her free time, she enjoyed karaoke, dancing, BINGO, and going to the casino.

Betty was a beautiful lady in so many ways. She touched all who knew her with beauty and kindness, each and every day. Betty will be remembered as a wonderful mother, grandma, and sister; cherished by a man that was in love with his wife. She is with God, and finally went home with her husband; she will never be alone.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Edward (Denise), Suzanne, and Timothy (Kristy); grandchildren, Danielle (Mike), Jackie, Katie, Keeley, and Karley; great-grandchildren, Bryce, Joseph, Antonio, Jace, and Madilyn; siblings, Barb Johns, Deborah (Scott) Wilburn, Paula (Willie) Frasure, and Paul (Laura); sister-in-law, Mary Harder; and many nieces and nephews.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Franklin and Veronica Harder; husband, Ed Koprowski; brother, Jim Harder; and mother-in-law, Etheland Koprowski.

In accordance to Betty's wishes, services will remain private, and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions in Betty's name may be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
