Elliott Saferin Obituary
Elliott H., MD
Elliott H. Saferin, MD of Toledo, Ohio passed away on October 27, 2016 at home. Dr. Saferin was born July 31, 1945, in Cleveland, Ohio to Edward and Ethel (Ishkowitz) Saferin. He graduated from West Virginia University and Meharry Medical School in Nashville, Tennessee. Dr. Saferin opened his medical practice in Toledo in 1976. He was a Fellow of American College of Surgeons and a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.
Dr. Saferin is survived by wife, Sandy; sons, Jeff, Eric (Michael), Marc, Aaron, and Adam Saferin; brothers, Stuart (Carol) and Bruce (Kathy) Saferin.
Services will take place on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at the Robert H. Wick/Wisniewski Funeral Home at 11:30 a.m. at 2426 N. Reynolds Road, Toledo, Ohio 43615.

My sincere condolences to all of the Saferin family. Doc was a great boss and an even better friend. I have many good memories from times I spent with Doc working with him and times just hanging out. He taught me so many things when I worked with him. Doc truly loved his family tremendously. Elliott will be truly missed and it was an honor to have met him.

Elliot was a good man. I'm honored to call him my friend. As a boss he always treated me very well, as a friend he treated me better. I'm very sad that we lost touch. I'm so very saddened to hear of his passing.
