Emery Dombi Obituary
Emery J. Dombi passed away on December 8, 2021, at St. Clare Commons at the age of 98. He was born in Toledo to George and Julia Dombi on July 26, 1923.
He attended St. Thomas Aquinas grade school and Waite High School.
Emery worked for the Pennsylvania Railroad and retired from General Motors in 1976 after 30 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Julius, William, Frank and Michael Dombi; and sisters, Ann Orcutt, Velma Magno, Julia Duris and Mary Mraz.
Several nieces and nephews survive.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 15, 2021, at Christ the King Catholic Church, 4100 Harvest Lane, after 9 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10 a.m.
Interment Calvary Cemetery.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Christ the King Church.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Foth-Dorfmeyer Mortuary where online condolences may be left at www.fothdorfmeyer.com
