Pastor Emma J.
Pastor Emma J. Collins passed June 17, 2015. She graduated from Whitney High School, Bowling Green State University, and held a degree in Ministry from Methodist Theology School & Board of Faith Institute. Emma served as Pastor of Lighthouse Community Church and enjoyed sports and spending time with her family.
She is survived by daughters, Jill (Sidney) Mallory and Tolea (Frank) Huddleston; son, Nelson (Leona) Collins; grandchildren, Shaunte (Timothy) Powell, Toni Collins, Cassius Collins, Jaden Collins; great-grandchildren, T'Niah and T'Neah West, Ti'Myra and Ti'Morah Powell; brother, Otis Stewart; sister, Beverly McGowan; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Funeral services are Thursday 11 a.m. at Braden United Methodist Church, 4725 Dorr St., preceded by 10 a.m. wake. Visitation is Wednesday 4-6 p.m. at The House of Day Funeral Services Chapel.
