Eric Linn

Eric Linn Bischoff of Alexandria, VA passed away December 25, 2015.

Eric was born on March 12, 1963, in Hudson, MI. He was the son of Lavern George and Patricia Knight Bischoff. Eric grew up in Berkey, OH and graduated from Evergreen High School. He went to the University of Toledo to earn a Bachelor's Degree in Education. There he met the Lord Jesus Christ, which ultimately changed the direction of his life. He went on to Ashland Theological Seminary where he met and later married Miaufen Chang, and earned a Master's Degree in Pastoral Counseling. He also earned a Master's Degree at George Washington University. Eric taught at Catholic Schools in Cleveland and in the DC area. He was currently teaching math at Corpus Christi in Falls Church, VA. He was a faithful member of Beverley Hills UMC.

Eric is survived by his beloved wife, Miaufen; cherished daughter, Abigail; mother Patricia; brothers: Jeff (Sue); Dennis (Connie); Alan (Char); Lavern; Shawn (Janice) and Rex; sisters, Lori (Rich) Kohler and Sue (Dan) DeWalt; and many nieces and nephews. Eric was preceded in death by father, Lavern, and brother, Mark. Eric brought the light of Christ to his family and to his students.

A memorial service was held at Beverley Hills UMC on December 29. A memorial service is being planned for July in Toledo. In lieu of flowers, please consider giving a gift to help towards Abby's future expenses.
