Eric Olson Obituary
Eric L. Olson, age 28, of Toledo, passed away Saturday, August 12, 2017 at the Toledo Hospital with his loving family by his side. He was born on July 6, 1989 in Toledo. Eric graduated from the Autism Model School in 2011. He enjoyed swimming and being in the water. He loved his coffee, especially Tim Horton's iced cappuccino. Eric was a happy, content kid who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Eric is survived by his loving parents, Jason and Roxann Balonek; sibling, Joy (Joey) Dickason; grandparents, Thomas and Mary Jane Haske, and Rita Welever; aunts, Diane (Randy) Struve, Lisa (Howard) Esteb, Randi (Rick) Elliott and Wendy Foster; and many cousins and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Charles Sentle.
The family will receive guests on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 from 4 – 7:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300) with Funeral Services beginning at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
Those wishing to make memorial contributions are asked to consider the Sunshine Inc. of Northwest Ohio.

I learned of Eric's passing last night. It saddens me that I am unable to attend. He was such a sweet young man. He touched my heart while I was working at Sunshine. May he be in the heavens singing with Stevie Ray Vaughan.

I will always remember playing "Chase" with Eric on the jungle gym at M.O.D.EL. Community School. He would laugh and say, "Hold on there Buckalouie". I will also remember how peaceful he looked laying back in the water on swim days. He was such a sweet soul. My prayers go out to Eric's family, who loved him dearly. I am so sorry for your loss.
