Evelyn Bublick, 91, of Toledo, OH, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 15, 2015, at the Sunset House. She was the youngest of three children born to Michael and Bertha Gorski. Evelyn married Donald Bublick and together they had a son. Years after the untimely death of Donald, Evelyn met the second love of her life, Serf Stressen. Together they spent many happy years golfing, traveling and just enjoying each other's company. She was a longtime member of Christ the King Catholic Church.

Evelyn is survived by her son, Tim (Peggy) Bublick; 3 grandchildren, and 9 beautiful great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Leonard Gorski, and sister, Beatrice Howard.

For the final years of her life she resided at the Sunset House, where she received outstanding and thoughtful care.

A memorial mass for Evelyn will be celebrated on Saturday, October 31, 2015, at 10 a.m., at Christ the King Catholic Church, 4100 Harvest Lane. Contributions in Evelyn's memory, may be made to the Bublick Endowment Fund at St. Francis de Sales High School. Ansberg-West Funeral Directors (419) 472-7633.

I saw Evelyn in 2013 at the cousins get to gether. She was as pretty as ever. I still remember when she married Don. Thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time. My mother was first cousin to Evelyn.
